T-REX 800E DFC Assembly Instruction

Align always dedicates to do innovation of helicopters, now here is a brand-new model coming out! T-REX 800E DFC TREKKER is especially designed for aerial photography pilot; it is not only the best choice for aerial photography, but also a helicopter with good 3D performance.
T-REX800E uses 800mm main blade, equips with DFC main rotor head set, the ultra-low C.G. reduces the drag while flying and provides more precise responses and higher stability, which satisfies to the demands of aerial photography. The carbon fiber side frame has the advantages of carbon and plastic material, and the appearance completely shows the beautiful design. Also, the material is strong and tough enough. For 800 grade helicopter, T-REX800E applies the best ratio design with M1 110T main gear and 13T motor pinion gear, equips with 750MX 450KV high efficiency brushless motor to increase the torque output. It also combines with several function-oriented upgrade kits so pilots can save the cost of modification and makes the helicopter perform the best.
T-REX800E has outstanding stability and high payload capacity, there are optional port reserved for camera mount installation on the frame, pilots can install Align camera mount easily. With Align APS GYRO, you can be led to the world of aerial photography by TREKKER.


Opening Box
The packing box of T-REX 800E DFC applies simple style without color printing, which is more environmentally friendly. All units, electronic equipments are packed by cartons separately; some larger units are even packed by bubble bag to provide more protection.

Main Frame Assembly
T-REX 800E DFC applies two carbon fiber side frame plates, follows the structure of 700E sliding battery tray rails on side frame. In addition, there are several ports on the side frame; this is designed for camera mount, which will be easy to install modified Align camera mount without DIY. Please note the orientation of main shaft bearing block while assembling, and make sure the main frame is vertical to the table, and then tighten the screws by screw glue.

This is 800E carbon fiber side frames. In addition to the sliding battery tray rails, there are many optional ports reserved to install camera mount for aerial photography.

Be sure to prepare all blocks on main frame before installing. T-REX 800E has third main shaft bearing block added to improve frame's anti-torque rigidity and satisfy most flight demands.

Please tighten the canopy mounting bolt to side frame before assembling main frame. The short one is for the front of canopy and shall be installed at the front; the long one shall be installed at the back of canopy.

Install aileron and servo mounting plate of pitch servo. The servo mounting plate shall be installed inside the side frame, please also note the orientation.

Please assemble temporarily without securing screws to make sure the two side frames are vertical to the table. And please also note the install orientation of main shaft bearing block, please refer to the photos below to install.

There are two frame mounting bolts; the specifications of screws for them are different. The front one is M3x6 and the back one is M4x8. There are two tail support ports; pilots can select either one based on personal demands.

Put the main frame on a level table (glass plane suggested), place the main shaft into the main shaft bearing block, the main shaft shall be put into the main frame smoothly. If not, that means the frame may be slanted, please loose the screws to adjust the frame until the main shaft can be put into smoothly.
